Ten Collection Itineraries

Through the high-resolution digitization of rooms and artworks, the thematic itineraries consist of a short audio introduction followed by storytelling and details on a selection of theme-related artworks, that can be seen/enjoyed in incredible detail.

How do you navigate through the virtual tour?

There are several ways to move within the virtual tour: by using the floorplan 1 in the lower lefthand corner to change panoramic views or floors, the arrows 2 in the 360º panoramic view to follow the suggested tour or the panorama thumbnails 3 displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Why are there differences between the artworks displayed here and the displays in some galleries?

The digitalization was carried out between November 2022 and March 2023. The location of Museum artworks can change due to different causes, such as temporary displays, loans, restorations, etc. That is why there may be differences between the virtual tour and an actual visit to the Museum. Has the museum been completely digitized? What is missing from the virtual tour?

Due to timing, the basement and the Dauphin’s Treasure have not been included. The remaining floors have been fully digitized with all the galleries and spaces where artworks can be found, including the Entrance Hall, the Jeronimo’s Cloister as well as staircases and corridors.
